The field of robotics or robot technology deals with the drafting, design, control, production and operation of robots for use in industrial and non-industrial environments, e.g. industrial or service robots. Robots are not just capable of taking on tasks which are dangerous, unreasonable or a health hazard for humans; they are coming more and more into play together with humans as collaborative robots (COBOTS).

When implementing robotics solutions, all our experience and know-how is incorporated into our technology modules. We combine tailor-made state-of-the-art robot technology with our knowledge in the fields of mechatronics, real-time control and image processing. We also supply laser welding and soldering systems for various materials. From this basis we develop modular solutions for diverse tasks in the fields of handling, assembly, joining and testing. This is how we create efficient solutions for your application. Modular handling systems, for example, and 3D surface inspections systems with a resolution of up to 5/1000 millimetres. This enables us to achieve high-precision positioning as necessary.

COBOTS can provide assembly workers in many respects: they lift heavy objects and assume monotonous tasks which cause one-sided strain, such as repetitive picking of parts, but keep control of the process at all times. This way, they provide relief for personnel and protect their health. Collaborative robots are also a practical option for line-controlled tasks which a human can either not perform as precisely, continuously or quickly and reliably as a machine. These include, for instance, screwing in particularly delicate screws or setting riveted or adhesive joints. COBOTS also provide valuable service when there is a shortage of qualified specialists.
In the COBOTS field the robot reacts to contact with humans and immediately keeps its distance when obstacles are detected. Protective fences or barriers are not required.
